Returns & Refunds Policy
In accordance with applicable US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulations, the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA), Civil Code §§ 1750 et seq., and the California Unfair Competition Law (UCL), Business and Professions Code §§ 17200 et seq.
1. Return Window
Cotenbi Home offers a 90-business-day return window from the date you receive your order. You may return any eligible item within this period without needing to provide a reason, provided all return conditions below are met.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal and California state public holidays.

2. How to Request a Return
- Contact our support team at help@cotenbi.com or via the return form at cotenbi.com, providing your order number and reason for return.
- Our team will review your request and respond within 1 to 3 business days with confirmation and return instructions.
- Once confirmed, securely repack the item(s) in all original packaging materials — including foam inserts, protective wrapping, and mounting hardware — and ship to the address provided by our team.
- After we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will process your refund or exchange as outlined in Sections 4 and 5.
3. Return Conditions
Armchairs and small sofas:
- Items must be unassembled or returned to their unassembled, original state where applicable.
- All original packaging materials must be present and intact, including foam inserts, protective film, corner protectors, and outer box.
- Upholstery must show no signs of use — no compression, indentation, staining, pet hair, odors, or fabric deformation.
- All included components must be present: legs, mounting hardware, bolts, instructions, and any accessories included in the original package.
- Items must be free from scratches, scuffs, or damage to frame, legs, or fabric caused after delivery.
All items:
- The return request must be submitted within 90 business days of receiving the order.
Items not eligible for return:
- Items showing signs of use — indentation in cushions, fabric compression, staining, or odors.
- Assembled items that cannot be returned to original factory condition.
- Items with damage to upholstery, frame, or legs caused after delivery.
- Missing original packaging materials, components, or hardware.
- Customized or made-to-order items produced to the customer's specifications.
- Final sale or clearance items, clearly marked as such at the time of purchase.
4. Refunds
Once the returned item is received and inspected, Cotenbi Home will process your refund within 14 calendar days of receiving the return.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Original outbound shipping costs will not be refunded in cases of voluntary returns, unless the entire order is returned due to a defect or error on our part. Please allow 3–10 additional business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
5. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item for a different style or variant, please indicate this in your return request. Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested item is unavailable, a full refund will be issued instead.
6. Return Shipping Costs
- Defective, damaged, or incorrect item: Cotenbi Home covers all return shipping costs.
- Voluntary return or exchange: Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Given the size and weight of furniture items, we recommend contacting us before arranging return shipment to confirm the most suitable carrier and method.
7. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us at help@cotenbi.com within 48 hours of receiving the order. Include photos of both the product and the packaging, including any carrier damage noted on the delivery receipt.
Cotenbi Home will arrange, at no additional cost, the shipment of a replacement or, if unavailable, a full refund including original shipping costs.
8. Product Warranty
All products sold through cotenbi.com are covered against manufacturing defects — including structural frame failures, defective mechanisms, fabric separation, and faulty hardware — under applicable US federal and state consumer protection laws, including FTC standards on merchantability, the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA), and the California Unfair Competition Law (UCL).
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper assembly, weight overload beyond stated capacity, liquid damage, or modifications made by the customer.
9. Cancelled Orders or Out-of-Stock Products
If a product becomes unavailable after your order is confirmed, Cotenbi Home will notify you by email, cancel the order, and issue a full refund within 14 calendar days via your original payment method.
