These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and all purchases made through it. By browsing or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Products

Cotenbi Home sells armchairs and small sofas for residential use. Product descriptions, dimensions, weight capacities, and images are provided in good faith. Color rendering may vary slightly depending on your device's display settings. Please review all product specifications carefully before purchase to ensure the item is suitable for your space and intended use.

If you receive an item that does not match its description or stated specifications, please contact us at help@cotenbi.com within 48 hours of receipt. Cotenbi Home reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or limit quantities of any product at any time without prior notice.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes shown at checkout. Cotenbi Home reserves the right to correct any pricing errors before fulfilling an order.

Payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments. By submitting your payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. Cotenbi Home does not store your full card details — payment data is handled by our payment processor in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

5. Order Confirmation and Acceptance

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email is an acknowledgement of receipt, not an acceptance of your order. Acceptance occurs when your order is dispatched and a shipping confirmation is sent. Cotenbi Home reserves the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch — for example, due to stock unavailability or payment issues — and will issue a full refund if this occurs.

6. Shipping

Cotenbi Home ships exclusively within the United States. Orders are processed within up to 2 business days and delivered within an estimated 7 to 14 business days from dispatch. Shipping is free on all orders. Full details are set out in our Shipping Policy.

7. Returns and Refunds

Cotenbi Home offers a 90-business-day return window from the date you receive your order, subject to the conditions described in our Returns & Refunds Policy. Items must be in their original, unused condition with all packaging and components intact.

8. Safe Use of Products

Furniture items must be assembled and used in accordance with the included instructions and stated weight capacities. Cotenbi Home is not liable for damage or injury resulting from improper assembly, exceeding stated weight limits, or use of items in a manner inconsistent with their intended purpose.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on cotenbi.com — including text, images, logos, graphics, and product photography — is the property of Andrew James Cotey trading as Cotenbi Home or its licensors. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any content without prior written authorization is prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cotenbi Home's total liability to any customer shall not exceed the total amount paid by that customer for the order giving rise to the claim. Cotenbi Home shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory US federal or California state consumer protection law.

11. Consumer Rights — California Residents

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable US federal law, including the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA), Civil Code §§ 1750 et seq., the California Unfair Competition Law (UCL), Business and Professions Code §§ 17200 et seq., and applicable FTC regulations. California residents who believe their consumer rights have been violated may contact the California Attorney General's Office at oag.ca.gov or the California Department of Consumer Affairs at dca.ca.gov.

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at help@cotenbi.com so we can resolve the matter directly. If a resolution cannot be reached, you may pursue any remedies available to you under applicable California and federal consumer protection law.

Cotenbi Home reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
